Jane Seymour
What She Taught Her TV Husband!
He inherited the big eyes from his father, the soft little nuzzle from his mother. Little Jack Neville is a happy baby. Most of the time he looks friendly and curious at his surroundings. When he does cry, his daddy Joe Lando (38) takes him in his arms, carries him around, rocks and strokes him gently, and talks to him tenderly until the crying stops.
I think I'm a pretty good father," laughs the TV star, "and I have Jane to thank for that.” Jane Seymour (49), his long-time partner in the TV series 'Dr. Quinn', gave birth to four children: Katie (17) and Sean (13) in her first marriage, and four-year-old twins Kristopher and John Stacey in her current marriage to James Keach (52).
In front of the camera Jane and Joe play a married couple. Privately they have a close friendship. Jane taught her colleague much of what he needs to know about handling babies. During breaks in filming, she prepared her TV husband perfectly for his new tasks. She told him what it was like when she had her babies, showed him important technical moves and explained to him how he could cope with the unforgettable stressful situations and how he could support his wife in her young motherhood. Joe's wife Kirsten (29) is very grateful to Jane; "My husband is absolutely perfect.” When he is there, he changes the nappies, bathes jack, oils him, prepares his porridge and puts him to bed. “This is a great relief for me.” The couple who married three years ago would like to have more children. Joe: “Jane gives us a wonderful example of how nice it is to have a big family.”
